About

Matthew Glynn, RSW, BSW, BKin

Hi, I’m Matthew. I’m a Social Worker who works with adults with ADHD who feel stuck, scattered, or frustrated trying to stay focused and follow through.

Many of the people I work with describe starting strong, then losing momentum, surrounded by unfinished tasks and self-criticism. They’re capable and driven, but worn out from trying to keep up. If this resonates, you may be looking for more structure, calm, and confidence in daily life, and a clearer understanding of your brain.

I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help adults with ADHD build awareness, self-compassion, and routines that fit their lives. Our work goes beyond talk, it includes practical tools and strategies to support focus, motivation, and follow-through. Progress isn’t about willpower; it’s about learning to work with your brain, not against it.

Currently, I am completing my Master of Social Work degree, with expected graduation in 2026. I am also committed to ongoing professional development, regularly engaging in specialized training and self-directed learning so that the support I offer stays current and evidence-informed.

Adult ADHD Counselling

Counselling for adults who want to better understand how ADHD shows up in everyday life and respond more intentionally. In session, we’ll map out your patterns with focus, time, and motivation, then experiment with practical tools you can try between sessions.

The aim is to build routines and supports that work with your brain and are grounded in your values and self-respect.

ADHD-Related Stress & Lifestyle Counselling

Many ADHD-ers also struggle with stress, burnout, sleep and health habits, and coping with change. Together, we'll focus on noticing these patterns and developing sustainable, values-guided ways to respond differently in daily life.

I also support related concerns such as internet and gaming overuse, men’s health, coping skills, relationship concerns, and performance pressures.
